Description
Original INK SKETCH (10x7") SIGNED verso, by world famous Italian opera tenor Enrico Caruso (1873-1921) Caruso was also the most popular singer in any genre in the first twenty years of the twentieth century and one of the pioneers of recorded music. This is an ink sketch, in very good condition, of Maestro Polacco, sent to Nicholas Goldschmidt (1908-2004 Canadian conductor, administrator, teacher, performer, music festival entrepreneur and artistic director.) It was sent from from Charles F. Comfort (Canadian artist 1900-1994). Includes letter describing the transaction. Letter is framed on back of sketch. WITHIN CANADA: Dependent on location - I am in Toronto - locals can arrange pick ups at mutually convenient times. Canada Post charges based on location, cubic capacity of package and weight - ie: so it is cheaper to send from Toronto to Barrie, than say Toronto to Vancouver. Happy to give you a specific quote if you email me. INTERNATIONAL: We do ship internationally but it is expensive, so contact us for quote. If you fail to do so and are not happy with the shipping cost, we will not cancel a deal. Shipping: Winning bidder is responsible for shipping charges with tracking and insurance. Shipping prices for US as listed. We will ship within Canada - fees vary depending on location.
