Up for auction here is an absolutely gorgeous Taylor Limited Edition Running Horses acoustic/electric. Has the expression system built in pickup (bass, treble, vol. control). Stunning Flame (Big Leaf) Maple back and sides, Sitka Spruce top w/ sweet honeyburst finish, can't quite get the camera to do justice to this guitar. The finish is incredible, and the attention to detail is very high; from the abalone inlay around the soundhole to the ebony bridge, ebony fretboard and ebony truss rod cover, everything points to the high quality of materials and workmanship that Taylor is known for. I honestly wish i could keep this guitar, but...we all know the story, the rising gas prices, falling home values... Serial number is 20030609129 (RHLTD). This guitar is near perfect, except: there is a tiny ding in the front. very hard to even photograph, but look very closely on one of the photos and you'll see it. i tried to get closer up on it, it's in the upper left corner of the front of the body (if the headstock is pointing up). It is negligible and does not detract from the beauty of the instrument, nor affect the playability in ANY way. Just trying to represent my product fairly, i don't like surprises when buying on ebay. I rate this guitar a 9.5, she has been kept lovingly, cased when not in use in a temp/humidity controlled closet, there's no real fretwear, the wood is just starting to really open up (it's a 2003), she sounds full and sweet with beautiful harmonics. She is a 2003 NAMM show limited edition (but was bought new in 2007), go online at Taylor and look under limited editions (kinda have to search around a bit, but she's the first "historical ltd ed" to pop up) there's quite a bit more info, or drop me an email, i'll answer any questions you might have.
